• Configure, Customise and Develop using Salesforce.com, C# or Java, JavaScript, HTML, Apex and Visualforce, while ensuring successful engagements with clients.
• Partner with Expert Services and Sales & Marketing to ensure that we provide clients with the best solutions for their needs and that we deliver inspired innovation and deliver them expertly and excellently.
• Engage with clients to understand their requirements and interpret them into a solution that exceeds expectation.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the customer’s industry business challenges and objectives to appropriately map Salesforce.com features and associated business benefits to address their needs.
• Identify the impact on the client’s Salesforce.com environment as a result of software updates or changes and development, customizations or configuration enhancements.
• Monitor and identify trends in Salesforce.com adoption and utilization and provide guidance to Management, the Client and the Sales Team, Technology Team and Expert Services Team.
• Play a fundamental part in helping your customers establish and manage their Change Management/Governance/Centre of Excellence programs and networking with Internal Team members to deliver success to the client.
• Play a fundamental role in mentoring junior staff and sharing skills across the organization.
• Identify risks to the customer in achieving their stated business goals and contributing to a risk mitigation plan.
• Play a role as a CloudSmiths advocate in driving industry best practices to the Client and Internally.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a developer.
• As a Developer, you must be proficient in programming using Salesforce.com, C# or Java, JavaScript, and HTML or who has strong object orientated development skills, who would like to develop in Apex.
• Configure, customise and program in Apex and Visualforce, while ensuring successful engagements with clients.
• The succesful incumbent should have experience in visual languages with backend web development an advantage.
• Development languages experience examples: Apex, Visualforce, C#, SQL, JavasScript, CSS.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure.
• Strong knowledge of business processes (Sales, Marketing, Service, Support), business applications and automation is an advantage.
• Familiarity with the database, application and network technologies used in Cloud Computing (e.g. knowledge of network topologies and devices, database concepts and SQL, multi-tenancy) would be advantageous.
• Working knowledge of the software development process and of software design methodologies.
• Salesforce.com product certifications are a plus (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Developer, Service Cloud Consultant or Sales Cloud Consultant).
• Ability to facilitate strategic road map workshops with customers.
• Ability to work with client across industries with focus on Financial Services, Professional Services, ICT, Retail & Manufacturing & NGO’s sectors.
