    Product Manager

    Job description

    Develop and Implement growth in Industry Drives Activities for Anglophone Africa based in South Africa through offer management, promotion, prescription and launches, while maintaining and improving margin and access to market and delivering high levels of Customer satisfaction.

    POSITION OF THE JOB IN THE ORGANIZATION

    He/she reports directly to SESA Product Marketing Manager, in the Industry Business Unit.

    He/she operates in our all major end user segments (MMM, WWW, F&B, O&G, INFRASTURCTURE, BECOBUILDINGS, etc.) for Anglophone Africa cluster opportunities.

    ACTIVITIES – AREAS OF JOB RESPONSABILITY

    • Offer Management
    • To ensure all pricing for Drives activities are managed within region.
    • All pricing templates are submitted in a timeous and accurate manner and monitor to validity expiry
    • Competitor intelligence, Segments Strategy, Offer Management, Price Positioning, Route to Market, Promotion
    • Order Intake management and Margin
    • Business development and promotion assistance, internally and externally
    • Channel development for sales activity
    • Discount management and authorisations
    • Commercial policy compliance
    • Promotions and campaigns
    • Communication with customers
    • Any discrepancies on quotations and/or orders.
    • Visit customers when regularly and as required
    • Internal communications
    • Monitor and report any discount and price discrepancies to superior

    SPECIFIC ISSUES

    • Team is transversal to all Schneider Anglophone Cluster
    • Cooperation is also needed within all Divisions, Commercial, Supply chain, Logistics, Sales and Marcomms

    INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

    He/she is exposed to all type Functions in the Company (local and international): Sales, Execution, Finance, Logistics, Corporate functions, etc.

    EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

    Member of a Customer Business Development focus team, he/she is exposed to all type of business partners: End Users, Contractors, System Integrators, Panel Builders, Distributors, OEMs, etc.

    Qualifications

    Academic requirements:

    • B-Tech/Degree in engineering ( LV power electronics, light current)
    • Added advantage Marketing qualification.

    Level of Experience:

    3-6yrs
