Key Responsibilities of the Sales Assistant:
New Clients
- Managing all new clients by:
- Weekly sifting new contacts from new clients
- Making new client “welcome” calls within 7 days of them receiving their first report
- Identify future possible key accounts
- Carrying out all new client admin in our in-house system and any other necessary welcome follow up
- Attend a weekly review with KAM or Business Manager (BM) to, amongst other things, follow up on potential key account prospects (“the watch-list”)
Sales Administration
- Carry-out all sales and some KAM administration which also includes the following:
- In-house accounts and contacts maintenance
- Event planning and implementation either with or without KAM
- Prospects and Client appointments on behalf of the KAM or BM
- Travel Arrangements
Incoming Queries
- Field incoming sales queries regards
- Types of Reports
- Report requirements
- Quotes and follow-up of quotes
- Other sales related queries
Marketing
- GRID TV filming, editing and uploading
- Maintenance of YouTube MTV Channel
- Maintenance of gridfa.com
- Other online based tasks
Desired Skills and Experience Qualifications
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Driver’s License essential
