    EHS Administrator

    Job description

    • Organize and manage EHS Committee meetings in Prospecton & Pinetown for Manufacturing & Warehousing.
    • Compile meeting minutes and maintain records for continuous or future reference.
    • Coordinate monthly EHS meetings and collate information on action plans for review by the EHS Manager.
    • Maintaining document control system and ensure latest revisions are used and keep records for continuous and future reference.
    • Load and Maintain the EHS action tracker on a daily and weekly basis (accident/incident reports, non-conformance reports, hazard reports, Plant General Inspections & risk assessment reports) on MyEHS system
    • Follow up on compensation claims at the Occupational Health Centre and ensure all documentations are received and filed with incident reports.
    • Maintain records associated with the implementation and coordination of ad hoc emergency drills (minimum 2 per annum).
    • Coordinate and ensure training records of all critical tasks and safe working practices are filed.
    • Ensure EHS training matrix is updated and follow up training is completed as per scheduled.
    • Ensure that the induction training is reviewed when necessary.
    • Coordinate and share all EHS information/statistics with all relevant stakeholders
    • Coordinate monthly meetings with site contractors and 3rd party service providers
    • Request quotes, generate purchase orders, and ensure that invoices are paid timeously
    • Ensure that documents are maintained & retained in line with internal and statutory requirements.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Three year tertiary qualification in Environmental/Health and Safety or related qualification
    • Minimum 2 years experience in EHS management systems
    • Minimum 2 years experience in general administration
    • Computer literacy; Microsoft Office and SAP
