    Category Analyst

    Job description

    We are currently seeking a Category Analyst to join the dunnhumby team. This role will support the Dunnhumby client team in executing the client plan with the delivery of first class insights which helps demonstrate how to gain competitive advantages from applying customer insights and why customer loyalty matters. The role will rely on the ability to analyse and develop insights from data that can be actioned and used by clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supports the Client Managers or Client Lead(s) to deliver a seamless and proactive service to the client or particular category.
    • Delivers accurate, creative and actionable shopper insights from Dunnhumby’s tools.
    • Analyse customer data in order to create measurable change for the Client’s customers.
    • Effective project management and delivery of consistently high standard of work as directed by Client Lead ensuring deadlines are met, operational hurdles are understood and insights are delivered in an actionable format.
    • Collaborate relentlessly with others in order to execute a ‘joined up’ approach for the client and to deliver against an integrated overall client plan.
    • Responsible for supporting the Client Lead in maintaining and building client relationship with support on day to day deliverables.

    Skills/Experience:

    This role will require a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related subject. A strong ability in Data Interpretation; Category Management; Insight Presentation and Customer insights is key to this role. Candidates should be full capable with Excel, have the ability to build effective client relations as well as strong presentation skills. Having a good understanding of Pricing/Promotions and new product development is also useful to this role.

    Candidates with good knowledge of Retailer & FMCG, Data Modelling and Analysis and stakeholder management are suited to this role. We are seeking someone who can identify opportunities, solve challenging problems, work well within a team and demonstrates enthusiasm.
