    Position Reports To: Group HR Manager

    Job Purpose:

    The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of employee relations and quality service. This position is responsible for human resources information and facilitation including recordkeeping, reporting, and information management systems. This position provides administrative and project management support to the Human Resources Manager and all Point’s global entities through the provision of an efficient and effective support service.

    The role is a mixture of administration and Human Resources Project Management based duties and serves the business by being the first point of contact for all Human Resource related queries. This role serves as an enabling support function to all divisions within Point with the core focus to provide a service of the highest quality. Team collaboration and coordination are of the utmost importance in the successful execution of all tasks

    Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

    Functional Duties and Responsibilities

    • Recruitment and Selection - Responsible for advertisements (internally and externally) and liaising with all key stakeholders to determine shortlists and coordinating interviews.
    • Employee Appointment & Induction - Responsible for onboarding new employees and maintaining all employee records.
    • Preparation of Employee Information for Payroll - Ensuring variation information is received and updated timeously providing support to the Payroll Division.
    • Industrial Relations Support - Responsible for incident reporting and query resolution & administration thereof.
    • Administration - Department administration including the updating of all files, processes, procedures, employee handbooks, group benefits documentation, etc.
    • Employee Promotions and Terminations - Facilitating the entire process inclusive of all exit interviews and scheduling of IT hand-over processes.
    • Performance Reviews & Probationary Discussions – Scheduling & conducting of all performance reviews & probationary discussions and completing the administrative function thereof.
    • Research & Implementation – Fulfill the constant drive to research and implement all changes to any and all HR related procedures, processes and documentation that is impacted or governed by any labour related legislation and / or law.
    • Deliverance on all KPI’s / KPA’s – Delivering an exceptional service in terms of all KPI’s / KPA’s as per the department and company’s requirements.

    Project Management Duties & Responsibilities

    • The Human Resources Coordinator will in addition be allocated with a portfolio of project management responsibilities and tasks, which will not be region specific; but for the entire Point group across the globe. These portfolios will be allocated and assessed by the HR Manager.
    • These portfolios are subject to change based on the operational requirements within the department and / or group. These portfolios will form part of the HR Coordinator’s permanent functions and are considered to be a core and crucial set of responsibilities within this role.
    • You are expected to diligently perform any and all work assigned to you that is within your skills and capabilities and to be flexible in relation to changes to the scope of your duties that may be required from time to time.

    Desired Skills & Experience

    • Matric
    • Human Resources Degree and equivalent experience advantageous. (Business or Corporate Environment)
    • Minimum of 2 to 3 years professional experience in the Human Resources environment.
    • Excellent understanding of labour and industrial relations, legislative frameworks, group benefits, payroll and all functional human resources duties preferable.
    • Exposure to Employment Equity, Skills Development and Wellness initiatives advantageous.
