Job description

• We are a fast growing international Data Management and Protection business in a market which is growing rapidly
• They have partners across the world and offices in the UK near London and in South Africa in Johannesburg and Stellenbosch

• The Software Tester's core responsibility
• Quality Assurance and Development team to develop and maintain testing environment

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting with test activities where required
• Develop and maintain test plans and test schedules
• Work closely with the Software Development Team
• Track and maintain defect lists and aid development teams to aid resolution
• Implementation of test methodology and processes
• Report directly to the QA and Development Manager

Requirements:

• 2-3 years’ experience and knowledge in different software tools, techniques and Operating
• Systems to deliver quality applications
• Proficient in the software environment as well as Office suite and mind map tools
• Ability to convince others of the right course of action
• Challenge workflows and business processes for improvement
• Ability to write clear and concise test steps and reports, etc
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with people at all levels
