Job description

PURPOSE:
- To ensure Exxaro complies with standard corporate governance and legal practices.
- The main point of contact / liaison between the board of directors, company shareholders and the Executives
- Own and drive the reporting on company procedures in a timely and accurate manner.
- To manage the relationship with the outsourced legal service provider and to quality assure the content of the work delivered
- To manage the company’s use of the outsourced legal service provider
- To oversee the development of legislative reporting as outlined by the Company’s Act
- To oversee and manage the administration of all Exxaro management committees
Qualifications:
- BA (Hons) Law ( Essential minimum and/or )
- BComm (Hons) Law ( Essential/Minimum )
- Master of Business Administration ( Essential/Minimum
- Advanced Management Programme ( Essential/Minimum )
Requirements:

10-12 years relevant company secretarial and legal counsel experience

These appointments will be made in accordance to Exxaro's EE policy.
