Mechanical Engineer position available in Bedfordview with a strong background in boiler mechanical design

Minimum role requirements (qualifications, experience & skills):

• This is strictly a BEE position and only previously disadvantaged candidates will be considered
• Must be SA born citizen
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Minimum B-Tech/B-Eng degree in mechanical engineering.
• Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng)
• Minimum 6 years experience in the boiler design and construction environment

Previous experience in the following is a must:

The main purpose the job is to complete boiler mechanical design (excluding main boiler structures) and including, but not limited to:

• Pressure parts.
• Pressure part supports.
• Buckstays and restraints.
• Integration of attachments and penetrations.
• Flues and ducts.
• Insulation and Refractories.
• Galleries and stairways.
• Boiler hot structures.
