Main purpose of the job
- To provide technical support, and to monitor and maintain laboratories / workshops, equipment, and inventory.
Main tasks

1. Maintain laboratories / workshops, equipment, inventory and storerooms

2. Purchase relevant equipment / inventory

3. Marketing

4. Health and safety

5. Academic administration

6. Technical academic support

Minimum Qualification/ Knowledge and/or Experience
- BTech Biomedical Technology/ BHSc Medical Laboratory Sciences
- 2 years’ experience as a Medical Technologist in Clinical Pathology
- Registered with HPCSA as a Medical Laboratory Scientist
- Desired Qualification, Knowledge and/or Experience
- Knowledge of SA Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Qualified Medical Technologist in Clinical Pathology registered with HPCSA
- Evidence of progress towards a Masters/Doctorate
