Brand Manager - FMCG Experience at Syndicate

Our client – a manufacturer of some of the most Iconic brands in South Africa in the Food, Beverages, Home and Personal Care area is recruiting for a Brand Manager. A commercial understanding of business coupled with strong financial and analytical skills is fundamental to be successful. You as the brand owner will be responsible for all aspects of the brands' performance including Profit and Loss and Brand strategy.

In order to be successful this role you need the following key experiences:

• Brand Strategy development and corrective measures
• Must have a strong theoretical and executional understanding of marketing processes (Strategy, NPD, Consumer Insights, media and advertising)
• Ability to work on multiple brands and categories
• Project management – must have worked on new innovation from initiation to launch
• Strong financial understanding (P&L)
• Understand volume growth vs value growth

Minimum experience and qualifications:

• 3 Year Qualification
• 4 years’ marketing experience within any FMCG environment
• 12 months on a Brand Manager level
• Innovation and new product development experience
• Budget management
• Management of 3rd party agencies/suppliers
