    Sales Executive

    Job description

    Wetu is currently looking for a new Sales Manager to join our dynamic team and help build world class sales team. The ideal candidate is someone who possesses a professional work ethic, is enthusiastic to gain new knowledge and willing to contribute and use their proven skills to enhance our rapidly growing team.

    The successful candidate will understand what motivates customers to buy and know how to tap into those needs and desires in an effective way. The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading an experienced local sales team, most of whom have worked for the company for 2+ years, as well as help develop an international sales team.

    • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
    • Well organised

    Requirements

    • Tertiary Education
    • 7 to 10 years in a relationship driven large cost sales team is a plus
    • 3 to 5 years management experience
    • Had the responsibility of developing strategy in a sales environment
    • Understands the structure of a sales department and has had a responsibility for developing sales procedures and support systems and materials.
    • Developed commissions structures
    • Followed a forecast as well as forecast development
    • A good understanding of Technology (not technical)
    • Ability to learn, grow and adapt
    • Experience selling enterprise software Industry (a plus but not a necessity)
    • B2B sales experience (advantageous)
    • Has a proven record of managing a successful sales team

    Key Responsibilities/ Execution

    • Develop the current structure of the sales team based on – I.e. Team Structure/divisions, Sales people roles and responsibilities, reporting lines, etc
    • Build a world class sales team in line with the company vision
    • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team - Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage the sales program accordingly
    • Motivate and drive the sales team to perform at their best ability
    • Develop and maintain measurement systems and reporting - Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
    • Continually improve all aspects of the sales team
