The purpose of the Developer is to ensure that the development supports the COO back office objective through the delivery of custom applications and tools.

This is achieved by appropriately planning, scoping and delivering within defined timelines. An important aspect of this role is to ensure that scalability, security and quality is inherently built into all toolsets.

Minimum experience:

• Delivery of quality results through an effective attention on the desired outcomes
• Proven understanding and awareness of current developments in the prevailing Cyber Security environment
• Minimum 5 years in a development role using the Microsoft .Net platform or relevant alternate Framework.
• Experience in web development technologies is essential.
• SDLC experience is preferred.

• C#
• HTML 5
• Java
• .Net (critical)
• SQL
• Scripting (Python, PowerShell)
• SharePoint development

Qualifications:

• Matric
• Microsoft certifications beneficial
• BSc (Computer Science/IT) or equivalent
• Relevant certifications in IT/information security and facilitation
