Job description

The role of the Specialist: IAM Service Delivery is responsible for performing analysis, service fulfilment, resource on boarding and attestations to support business processes for Identity & Access Management.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Support the Access Request management Processes for take-on of new systems, automated and manual account provisioning and user bulk loads.
• Prepare and distribute periodic access reviews of user access rights to information systems
• Develop and administer repeatable service delivery processes.
• To troubleshoot and resolve application, data, transaction and system issues.
• To maintain Service Delivery Controls and oversee their adoption, ensuring that all relevant processes are implemented, maintained and adhered to, and that all key controls are documented and executed.
• To interface with different role players (Vendors, Change Management, IT, Customer Care departments, business users etc.) to ensure that any operational changes, incidents and service requests are effectively and efficiently resolved and a solution implemented.
• To plan and optimize change controls as a result of system/application upgrades and configuration changes, adhering to Change Control procedures.
• To be involved with and facilitate the process of acceptance and/or application performance testing to ensure a stable production environment.
• To compile incident reports, attend/conduct incident reviews and follow through to ensure permanent fixes for production problems.
• To input into capacity plans (e.g. stability, performance, storage etc) to ensure systems have resources for future growth.
• To maintain good relationships with stakeholders, business partners and suppliers.

The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have

• Matric (Essential).
• A 3 year Degree or National Diploma in Information Technology/ Computer Science or relevant undergraduate degree.
• Experience with Windows, Linux/Unix environments, databases and LDAP directories.
• Experience in using tools to query and manipulate data in varying formats and advanced use of EXCEL formulae.

In addition to the details listed above, the ideal candidate will have an in depth knowledge and understanding

• Strong IT system administration experience along with knowledge of management and support of Identity and Access Management systems.
• Extensive knowledge of trouble shooting and fault finding on Web, Application and Database tiers
• Application of ITIL principles in an operational environment.
• Process Development.

The base location for this role is Midrand.
