In support of this overriding organisational strategy, the strategic objective for the Technologies division is governed by the vision: “The technologies delivery vision is to provide the best information security engineers that will meet customer/project requirements in terms of security implementation, design and architecture according to SLA and thus providing excellent customer service.

The primary contribution of the Technologies division is the following: Operational delivery of professional services in alignment to the respective customer proposals and project plan; Identify opportunities to expand at the client and provide high-level support and escalation structure into Performanta for our customers where necessary.

Minimum Level of technical skills & competancies:

• Good networking knowledge and proven networking skills as evidenced by technical assessment
• Good understanding of Endpoint Security
• Good understanding of Vulnerability Management
• Good understanding of Linux operating systems
• Understanding of OSI model
• Understanding of risk and governance related to information security
• Undaunted by unknown technologies/able to come up to speed on new technologies
• Solid trouble shooting skills as evidenced by technical assessment
• Understand how technical security controls (i.e firewalls, IPSs, and antivirus software) can be applied to solve specific information security problems
• Perceive the threats facing an organisation, understand how these threats can transform into attacks, and safeguard the organisation from information security attacks
• Suite of leadership skills as evidenced by Performanta behaviours
• General understanding of enterprise architecture principles

Minimum Level of Expertise:

• Proven skills in technical delivery and mentoring others
• An ability to work with a team
• Delivery of quality results through an effective attention to process and detail
• Proven understanding and awareness of current developments in the prevailing global Cyber Security environment
• An ability to work pro-actively and independently
• A+ and S+ Advantageous
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge in Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS)
• Knowledge on Linux operating systems
• Minimum 5 years in a technical delivery role
• Minimum 2 years in an endpoint security role
• Minimum 2 years in a vulnerability management role
• CISSP advantageous
• General understanding of Information Security (Risk and Governance)

Minimum Qualifications & Certificates:

• Matric
• Diploma in Information Technology/ Computer Science or equivalent
• Network certification (N+ Minimum)
• McAfee certifications
