Hello… an exciting new opportunity has just come available in our Hollard Broker Markets, Specialist Claims Services area. We are looking to recruit a Specialist Claims Manager.

Summary of Role and Context:

To effectively and efficiently manage the Specialist Liability claims function within the Specialist Claims services. To ensure implementation of effective and efficient claims handling principles in order to ensure containment costs and minimizing leakage. Provision of excellent service in setting a culture of best practice within mandated responsibility.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• 8-10 years relevant experience of which at least 3 years should have been in a management capacity/ leadership role in a liabilities function.
• At least 2 years spent as a practising Attorney
• Personal injury litigation will be an added advantage
• A track record of having successfully managed a Specialist Liability claims function. An in-depth knowledge of the personal & commercial product knowledge within the liabilities environment

Educational Requirements:

• Matric
• Appropriate Insurance Qualification
• 4 year Legal Degree
• Admitted attorney non negotiable
