RECRUITMENT JOB SPECIFICATION – QUALIFIED TRAINER WITH HARD ROCK MININIG EXPERIENCE

Our company is a technology and e-learning skills development and training company

We require qualified trainers with the following;

Qualifications and experience

• MQA accredited with at least five years of experience practical training in mining and engineering.
• Necessary qualifications related to content development.
• At least five years’ experience as a content developer in all aspects of the mining cycle of hard rock mining.
• Experienced using Software programs to develop training courseware
• Proficient in the use of Tablets and other electronic devices

The following additional experience will be an advantage

• Experience on the UV80 Emulsion and Drill Rig vehicles and machinery
• SHEQ training in underground mining and workshop and environments.
• Personal ability and personality
• Medically fit to work underground
• Must be passionate about training and skills development.
• Solid track record with a good robust and reliable work ethic.
• Willing to work additional hours when required.
• Implement, track and manage instructions effectively and successfully.
• Strong problem solving skills and ability.
• Good communication skills to liaise & coordinate Client & our company.
• Disciplined in feedback and reporting required by management.
• Candidates with IT experience will have an advantage.
• Project management experience
• Ability to train clients on software solutions for new and existing installations
• Contract Package negotiable for the right candidate with potential of full time employment
• The candidate should have both mining and engineering background and an added benefit will be if you has previous experience on the UV80 Emulsion and Drill Rig vehicles and machinery.
• Experience with Planned Task Observations and Coaching necessary
• Preferably SHEQ experience in underground workshop and underground mining environments.
• Not a problem to work late and long hours.
• Positive by nature with a sense of urgency to complete tasks.
• Not let inside politics derail you from objectives and outcomes.
• Be able to follow laid down objectives without deviation.

Detailed oriented and able to feedback frequently to line management, executive management and Edutouch.
