Job description

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

To execute auditing emanating from a centralised systems driven continuous monitoring environment and produce high quality audit reports and recommendations.
Carry out independent appraisal of the effectiveness of the policies, procedures and standards whereby the Bank’s financial, physical and information resources are managed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A relevant tertiary qualification (National Diploma or B-degree) in Internal Auditing with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a risk based auditing environment
• Experience in Application Control and Business Process Reviews
• Knowledge of Internal Auditing procedures and standards
• Knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
• Proficiency in accounting principles and techniques in working with financial reports
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain satisfactory relationships with engagement clients
• Adaptability to various and evolving circumstances
• IT and computer literacy
• Analytical skills
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to collaborate as part of a team
• Client service orientation
• Own car and valid driver’s license
