Job description

Job Purpose

To ensure marketing collateral and tabloids are designed and sent to print timeously

Education & Experience
- Matric
- Graphic design qualification advantageous
- 1 year experience as a DTP Operator
- Experience using Indesign CS4 and Photoshop
Required Job Competencies:
- Innovation and creativity
- Flair for design
- Excellent planning and prioritising skills
- Deadline driven
- Attention to detail
- Personal resilience
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Key Performance Areas of Role
- Deep etching
- Text formatting
- Generating new jobs and checking pages have pulled through correctly
- Prepping of work and sending it to the repro house
- Advert makeup and resizing
- Working to a design brief accurately and timeously
- Ensure that all branding aligns to the Marketing strategy on all advertising before it leaves the studio
- Ensure all service levels and standards are met throughout
- Produce design work for Ad Hoc projects
