    Payroll Consultant

    Job description

    Full Function Payroll Consultant

    R12 500 Basic + Comm

    We are looking for a Payroll Consultant to run the full payroll function for multiple clients. You will be part a very dynamic team.

    Duties:

    • Setup monthly schedules for clients.
    • Ensure input is received each month.
    • Processing input accurately (1 loop process).
    • Process a minimum of 750 - 1500 employees during payroll.
    • Process multiple payrolls.
    • Capture take-on of financial information for tax year-end purposes.
    • Ensure approval is received timeously.
    • Accurately complete job card per client.
    • Resolve client queries.
    • Run payments files and follow up on payments if required.
    • Ensure payslips and invoices are issued.
    • Responsible for final reporting.
    • Ensuring that UIF submissions are made.
    • Capturing data for EMP201 payments and ensuring payments are released.
    • Conduct Tax Year end reconciliations.
    • Ensuring mid-year SARS submissions are done.
    • Third party schedules and payments are done if required.
    • Generating WCA and EE reports to be sent annually.
    • Ad hoc reporting/ consulting.
    • Problem solving as needed.
    • Maintaining the Administrative processes and procedures.
    • Any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time.
    • Provide guidance to Junior Payroll Consultants.
    • Display working knowledge of surrounding business systems and the manner in which SAGE
    • VIP should be best integrated with these systems.
    • Resolving queries.
    • Advising clients.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Proficient in VIP.
    • Excellent knowledge of medical aid schemes and pension funds.
    • Excellent general Computer Literacy.
    • Excellent knowledge of payroll and accounting practices and principles.
    • Excellent knowledge of human resource management systems and practices.
    • Excellent knowledge of the BCEA, the Income Tax Act, LRA, COIDA, EE Act and the Skills Development Act.
    • Advanced Excel Skills (including)
    • Smart Reporting
    • BIM
    • Experience on VIP processing the payroll.
    • Working with a headcount of 750-1500 and more.
    • Remuneration will be determined by type of experience.
