LOCATION: Dwaalboom (Thabazimbi Area)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

S4/ T3/ N6 Diploma Electrical / Electronic Engineering

Above ABET Level 4 in Numeracy & Literacy

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 5 years relevant experience in heavy industrial/ mining environment.
• Working knowledge of plant instrumentation, Temperature, Pressure, weighfeeders, belt-weighers etc.
• Working knowledge on Siemens S5/ S7 PLCs
• Working knowledge of SCADA systems. PCS7 would be advantageous
• Working knowledge of power electronics/ frequency drives and soft starters
• Working knowledge of Environmental monitoring equipment
• Strong inclination to root cause identification and problem solving

JOB FUNCTION:

• Optimise asset performance, fault-finding and plant maintenance
• Maintain a safe working environment and compliance to legal requirements
• Standby duties.
• Perform all Ad- hoc duties as required.
• Positive working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
• Must be willing to work overtime when required
• Good communication skills, must be a team player

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Valid code 8(EB) driver’s license
