Hello... an exciting new opportunity has just come available in our HLI, Finance area. We are looking to recruit a Junior Management Accountant.

Summary of Role and Context:

To prepare and maintain accurate information required for the completion of monthly results. To provide the business unit with support with respect to OSU's (e.g. creditors, central actuarial and cashbooks)

Required Knowledge and Skills

• PC literate (Advanced MS Office, Great Plains an advantage)
• Financial and management accounting
• Strong internal controls knowledge
• Financial and management accounting (IFRS)
• Some knowledge of FSB and related insurance industry general information
• Customer service orientation
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Analytical thinking skills
• Time management
• Good planning and organizing skills

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• B.Comm or a relevant qualification
• A minimum of 2 years or relevant experience
• Investment industry experience would be an advantage
• Preferred/ Advantageous if 2 years of experience in investment accounting
