Are you interested in the digital world, social media, advertising and, most importantly, writing?

Our marketing team is on the hunt for a creative and energetic copywriter who has a passion for English and a keen eye for grammar.

The ideal candidate should have at least one year’s experience in writing/editing and should be comfortable writing across various digital platforms - both short and long copy.

The copywriter will be responsible for writing clear, persuasive, factual, original copy. Copy should be designed to educate and create awareness, sell products, nurture leads, and tell a brand story. This includes copy for websites, blogs, technical articles, video scripts, brochures, digital adverts, newsletters and more. Proofreading and editing will form a large part of your daily tasks.

The copywriter will be expected to communicate and meet with clients on a regular basis to ensure that briefs are understood and the highest quality of work is produced.

The copywriter will work together with the rest of the marketing team to develop copy for both internal and external marketing needs.

You will also be required to assist with advert copy for social media and Google adverts and to assist with administrative duties within the department.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in English, journalism, copywriting or other relevant field
• At least one years' relevant work experience
• English mother tongue
• Knowledge of SEO and digital copywriting
• Excellent research skills
• Experience in editing
• Portfolio of past work
• Understanding of brand tone and brand persona
• Able to tailor your message to different audiences (we have clients across a wide range of industries with diverse target audiences) and write effectively for different mediums
• Ability to work fast and under pressure without compromising quality
