    Remuneration Specialist

    Job description

    Hello... an exciting new opportunity has just come available in HR, Parktown Park area. We are looking to recruit a Remuneration Specialist.

    Summary of Role and Context:

    Conducts research and analysis in different areas involving remuneration, such as statistics and market analysis. Duties include conducting position evaluations, job classifications, preparing job descriptions, assessing the budgetary impact of remuneration decisions and providing oversight of compliance with regulations and labour laws. Assists Remuneration Manager to design and adjust salary structures and remuneration packages and review policies and procedures.

    Required Knowledge, Experience and Skills

    • 3 to 5 years remuneration and benefits experience
    • Proven work experience as a remuneration and benefits specialist
    • Prior experience in HR practices and remuneration cycle management
    • Working knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis systems
    • Previous experience with labour market surveys
    • Adequate knowledge of current labour rules and regulations
    • Familiarity with various types of incentives and benefits
    • Adequate knowledge of employee benefits
    • Extensive knowledge of HRIS and MS Office
    • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
    • Analytical skills
    • Strong numerical skills
    • Attention to detail

    Educational Requirements:

    • Diploma (Remuneration, Benefits, Payroll or similar)
    • GRP Qualification (must have)
