Responsible for all HR representatives in the region, initiatives and resources
Assumes corporate responsibility for development of NOMAC guidelines, policies and procedures
Understand global, regional and departmental strategies in order to support, enhance and assist in execution with a focus on talent development, organizational effectiveness and process and policy & procedures improvements
Leading the execution of strategic initiatives in all NOMAC’s regional projects
Anticipates and identifies future people-related issues that positively impact the business and partners with Regional leadership to develop strategies to address them
Actively participates in NOMAC’s strategic business planning process and leads the development of people initiatives such as Diversity, People Planning, and Rewards and Recognition
Responsible for staff scheduling to include: work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations
Schedule and conduct department meetings and responsible to meet department productivity and quality goals
Drives innovation, change, and implementation of people practices that improve business results
Communicate with Supervisors, Managers, on department operations and follow-up latest issues
Participates in and influences community/government relations activities to promote company’s image and impact business results
Demonstrates and reinforces the leadership behaviors necessary to gain commitment (loyalty, satisfaction, pride) from the HR team, company’s staff
Carry out annual performance evaluation of reporting employees
Role models the utilization of effective people systems within the HR department (selection, Performance Development System, Rewards and Recognition, etc.)
Identification and control of hazards in assigned work area
Designs, implements, and educates key customers on innovative compensation and reward strategies
Partners with crisis management team to anticipate and determine responses to HR-related crisis situations (third-party interventions, health and safety issues, and wage and hour audits, etc.)
Partners with Training Manager to align Regional development strategies that positively impact employee productivity.
Identify, establish and monitor IMS objectives, Targets and programs
Required skills:
12 years’ experience within HR field
Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree
Management skills
Energy experience is not essential but is a preference
