Job Function

To control, record and monitor the procurement in the organisation from a central point and to manager the sourcing of high quality and cost efficient suppliers and services according to the need of the business within time frame and budget.

Key Performance Areas

• Liaise with other Company Departments, in order to maximise the benefits of bulk purchases
• Evaluate price increases or other material changes to orders and contracts already in force
• Ensure that price variations (possible increases) are communicated to the relevant parties as quickly as possible.
• Ensure BBBEE certificates are up to date

Qualifications Required

• Matric / Grade 12
• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management

Skills and Experience Required

• 4-5 years related experience
• Supplier relation experience
• Preferential procurement framework
• Computer Literate – SAP Advantageous
• Commercial review of supplier contracts
• Client contract facilitation
• Insurance Review
• Financial Risk Management
