    Risk Replacement Monitor: SLS SanlamConnect CIE (Bellville) (JG 08)

    What will you do?

    • As part of the Legal Services team within Distribution Support, you will play a critical role in promoting, monitoring and driving compliance and risk management in relation to policy replacements. This includes ensuring adherence to LTIA PPR Rule 19, FAIS, and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles.

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • Proactively monitor replacement business cases and practices submitted by intermediaries.
    • Review and validate Replacement Advice Records (RARs) within strict SLA timelines.
    • Ensure compliance with disclosure requirements, advice standards, recordkeeping and ethical conduct.
    • Identify compliance risks, interpret trends and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
    • Escalate high-risk cases to Quality and Risk Control (QRC).
    • Maintain accurate compliance recordkeeping and reporting.
    • Sign off on required documentation and ensure governance standards are met.
    • Identify training needs and facilitate compliance coaching for intermediaries.

    Qualification and Experience:

    • Valid driver’s license and reliable motor vehicle.
    • Relevant Commerce Degree/Diploma.
    • Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning (advantageous or in progress).
    • Investment and Risk Product Accreditation.
    • Additional industry-related qualifications will be advantageous.

    Knowledge and Skills: 

    • In-depth understanding of financial services legislation, compliance frameworks and Policy Replacement Rules.
    • Knowledge of Sanlam products (including investments) and financial planning processes.
    • Familiarity with compliance portals and Sanlam tools (Sanfin, S.Net, Suite).
    • Strong MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Auditing and forensic practices, risk management policies and complaints processes.
