Job description

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree (Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar )
• 8 10 years experience in Business Analysis role within the mining, resources & utilities industries, performing business analysis functions in a variety of complex situations.
• Strong UML background (Use cases, activity and sequence diagrams etc)
• Business process modelling & management (BPMN)
• Data modelling (ERD)
• Good understanding of the various BABOK knowledge areas and aligned techniques
• Successful candidates must be willing to travel in and around Gauteng and be adaptable to the changing environments involved in the consulting field.

Job Purpose

• Analyse and synthesize information provided by a variety people who interact with the business, such as customers, staff, IT professionals and executives.
• Elicit the needs and requirements of stakeholders.
• Facilitating workshops will be incorporated and the individual must be able to act as the translator between business and Information Technology.
• The successful candidate must be able to set a high standard for business analysis within his environment and perform quality assurance of junior staff against such standards.
