Role Purpose

To lead and enable the RMB Business to Bank portfolio design, development and deployment that ensures improved Corporate Bank financial performance, market share and competitive positioning

• Macro environment
• Co-ordinate the implementation of continuous industry / macro-environment scanning and apply insights to make sure that systems, practices and processes are best practice
• Assess and critically evaluate how industry/sector and competitive forces impact the implementation of integrated business to bank host solutions i.e. collections, payments
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders i.e. clients, product heads, sales teams, to understand and influence market and strategic changes
• Business alignment
• Perform a tactical operational partnership role in translating and aligning the TxB host strategy to support and optimise Corporate Bank business drivers
• Client
• Understand and stay close to the needs, wants, motivational perceptions and buying behaviours of TxB client groups
• Influence Client Value Proposition strategies and ensure the deployment of appropriate client management tactics across the host connections
• Market segmentation
• Understand the evolving client/industry segment needs in the TxB space and effectively lead Business to Bank solutions design and deployment to meet those needs
• Product development/solutioning
• Develop and drive the Business to Bank solutions strategy across the different industry, product and client segments
• Focus host solutioning efforts to optimise and enhance performance for key revenue generating products(current and future)
• Influence the way product offerings are integrated, packaged and leveraged to augment product value
• Identify opportunities for new hosting services and/or product developments to gain competitive advantage.
• Define and oversee the commercialisation and operationalisation for developed and deployed host product offerings
• Budgets
• Determine, plan and manage the host connections budgets taking into account the business case, TxB priorities and constraints
• Risk and compliance
• Keep abreast of changes and new developments to relevant regulations, industry standards and organisational compliance policies
• Work with internal Compliance, Risk and Legal partners to ensure alignment with required standards and best practices for application
• Project management
• Ensure cross-functional project integration and process efficiency by co-ordinating systems, resources and processes with multidisciplinary project teams. This includes the macro alignment across Product and IT
• Evaluation
• Assess effectiveness of Business to Bank strategies/ tactics by measuring changes in market share, market penetration, and financial performance metrics i.e. profitability
• Managing people
• Translate the company vision and values into a clear work context for the team; generate a shared understanding and commitment towards the realisation of business objectives
• Encourage good performance by establishing clear links between performance measures and Portfolio outputs
• Retain talent by recognising and fairly rewarding good performance and progress made towards the achievement of business objectives

Required Qualification

Relevant Degree, Technology or Computer Science Degree
