    Business Development Manager

    Job description

    Key Responsibilities

    The purpose of the role is to achieve profitable sales for all Damco products on a multi-trade basis through dircet contact with new and existing clients.

    Performance Indicators

    • Achieve and exceed target in value and volume
    • Achieve activity targets and ensure loaded in CRM with 100% data quality score
    • Plan and organise sale activities
    • Make effective visits to customers to obtain factual information
    • Report accurately on customer visits and customer deatails on the database
    • Arrange appropriate follow-up of customer visits
    • Expand the boundaries of current business
    • Exceed sales budget
    • Strategies developed to stay ahead of competition
    • Administration and reporting procedures prior to handover of client
    • Adapt to and live the company values

    Who we are looking for

    • Experience in Airfreight solutions is essential
    • Knowledge and experience of Freight Forwarding, from a sale as well as an operational point of view.
    • Understanding of the corporate strategy
    • Sales and Marketing experience
    • CRM usage
