    Detail Representative - JHB

    About the role

    • As a Detail Representative, you will be responsible for ensuring that World Class education and training is provided to appropriate HCP’s and experts, delivering key clinical messages so that the Haleon brands are the ones they most recommend, endorse and sell within the Dental Practice influencing sphere
    • You will be required to build sustainable relationships with targeted Healthcare Professionals and their practice staff

    Key responsibilities

    • To achieve Detailing objectives each Cycle, in line with Team/Marketing strategy
    • To achieve Selling objectives each Cycle, in line with set individual targets 
    • To ensure that comprehensive call planning is implemented for each call 
    • To ensure that the sales model principles are always adhered to in each call 
    • Complete company reports and records to agreed standards, bearing in mind the company’s SOP’s on PII and SPII, these will include Call reports, Field Coaching Reports, Competitor Feedback, etc. 
    • Complete all trackers for Samples, POS, etc. on a weekly and monthly basis 
    • Manage individual marketing budget for area per annum 
    • To develop territory business plan to accomplish objectives
    • To make professional/educational presentations to practice groups, professional bodies and any meeting as directed, CME’s, CPD Meetings, etc. 
    • Drive all company objectives identified within the overall Expert strategy
    • DeDetailing Representatives may be required to attend meetings, conferences and training courses that may entail overnight stays or evening work, incl. weekends
    • Territory Management and Coverage may entail overnight stay
    • Undertake any other duties commensurate with grade as required
    • Ensure that all My Learnings and SOP training is completed timeously
    • Agreed pass averages are achieved for product/detailing assessments 
    • Identify and forge relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and Influencers within the Healthcare Profession 

    Qualifications and skills

    Required

    • Matric
    • 3 year medical/science related tertiary degree/diploma
    • Relevant experience in industry(e.g. oral hygienist )
    • Computer Literate in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, One Drive, MS Teams

    Other Skills/Qualifications

    • Ideally 2 year’s successful experience in Healthcare Sales/Influencing role
    • Good communicator at all levels to an array of audiences
    • Excellent Negotiating & sales skills
    • Good IT skills including electronic detailing and selling
    • Good administration and organizational skills
    • Self-disciplined and demonstrates accountability
    • Good understanding of policy setting & decision-making processes in healthcare industry

    Maintenance Artisan - Cape Town

    About the role

    • To maintain equipment to be compliant to Engineering standards, Quality standards and all EHS standards that pertains to the safe operation of equipment.
    • To maintain machinery and plant regularly to ensure maximum production when required by the business.
    • To prioritize and attend to breakdowns on the equipment as per your qualification.         

    Key responsibilities

    • Perform task as delegated to him/her by his/her Line Manager i.e., Relevant additional tasks and responsibility which can be assigned from time to time.
    • Perform RCA's as outline by the maintenance RCA process for equipment that does not meet failure rate targets.
    • Responsible for conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues, such as wear and tear, misalignments, or faulty components.
    • Escalate risks regarding maintaining future machine reliability.
    • Be available to work overtime when requested by your Line Manager.
    • Attend Production, Quality, EHS and Project meetings when required.
    • Collaborate with other teams and fellow Maintenance Artisans including technicians to address maintenance needs, coordinate projects, and ensure efficient operation of equipment.
    • Comply with all EHS standards and guidelines.
    • Responsible for adhering to safety protocols and regulations while working on machinery and equipment; following lockout/tagout procedures, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and promoting a safe working environment.
    • Performs planned maintenance, services and ongoing checks to minimize breakdowns when required.
    • Ensures that equipment repairs are done cost effectively in the shortest possible time to minimize downtime.
    • Up-skills the technical capabilities of the operators and setters to improve productivity.
    • Be responsible for breakdown maintenance on your shift and if called out after hours.
    • Ensure own corrective and planned maintenance work orders comments are communicated to be addressed or escalated.

    Qualifications and skills

    Required

    • N3 - N6 trade tested mechanical and/or electrical.
    • Three (3) Years in FMCG or Pharmaceutical Environment.

    Product Owner - Cape Town

    About the role

    • To effectively and independently own and lead all elements of the Product Lifecycle for specific products or product family and to ensure that the product is delivered to the highest levels of quality and robustness.

    Key responsibilities

    • Performs Technical Risk Assessments (TRA) and Process Validation/ Process Performance Qualification (PV/ PPQ) on products assigned to ensure that the necessary process robustness is built into product manufactured and packed on site.
    • Performing Continued Process Verification (data trending) on critical quality attributes, critical process parameters and critical material attributes to identify process risks and/or improvement opportunities. Prepares the Annual Continued Process Verification Report to support the Periodic Product Review process.
    • Execute Performance Qualification (PQ) of new systems or when changes are made to existing systems.
    • Provides technical input into any changes/ influences on the manufacturing, packing, cleaning and analytical processes, as well as pack design and associated specifications (raw material and finished product).
    • Provides leadership and establishes key relationships within site across Operations, Technical, Quality and Engineering for the product(s) for which he/she is accountable, and above site with other Product Owners and R&D.
    • Provides technical input to regulatory submissions for first file, post-approval submissions, periodic product reviews, internal and external audits.
    • Maintains current and previous knowledge on the product(s), performance and end to end process, including critical quality attributes (CQAs) and critical process parameters (CPPs).
    • Troubleshoots problems that occur and provide input into root cause analyses to support the investigation and resolution of OOTs, product complaints and deviations, in conjunction with QA, Engineering and Operations.
    • Ensuring all Cleaning processes are validated and maintained. Provides technical expertise with respect to cleaning processes and systems in support of Product Life Cycle Management/ Process Robustness and other GSK, EHS risk assessments for new and existing processes or site initiatives.
    • Ensures risks are identified and escalated as appropriate and mitigation plans are in place and agreed within appropriate quality systems e.g. CAPAs or governance boards.
    • Conducts management monitoring (self-inspections) and supports and provides technical input to internal, Compliance Assessment Group, third party and regulatory audits.

    Qualifications and skills

    Required

    • National Diploma/Bachelors in scientific field
    • Minimum 3 years of work exp in similar role.
    • Demonstrated experience in the Pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.
    • Experience in performing the Technical aspects of the Product Lifecycle including Technology Transfers, Technical Risk Assessments, Product Control Strategies, Process Capability/Robustness, Quality by Design, Validation and Change Control.

    Preferred

    • Bachelor’s Degree.
