    1st Line Support Analyst - Stellenbosch

    Job Summary

    Working as part of the 1st line Support Service Team you will provide a prompt, accurate and professional response or escalation to all incoming customer queries, with the aim of maintaining customer satisfaction in MAM and its products.   

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Ensure all incoming incidents are responded to promptly whilst maintaining a confident and professional approach to all communications 
    • Efficiently identify the caller and accurately assess their needs or requirements and nature of incident, following specific procedures based upon that assessment.  
    • Accurately identify and agree with the customer the severity of the incident allowing effective workload prioritisation to take place. Setting correct customer expectation.    
    • Ensure sufficient information is gathered and recorded as a new log on the Support System. The information should be an accurate and complete statement of the customer’s incident together with any actions taken or advice given.   
    • Take initial responsibility of the log and attempt to provide a solution using personal knowledge, colleague’s knowledge and available knowledge bases. 
    • Ensuring customers are kept informed on progress of any open logs for which you have responsibility. 
    • Where no immediate solution can be found, correct and prompt escalation based on current procedures.  Communicate escalation to customer. 
    • Undertake training as deemed appropriate to the post held. 
    • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of supported applications and developments. 
    • Work individually and as part of a team towards the aims and objectives of the company as a whole. 
    • Fulfil Departmental requirements in terms of administrative tasks, and to conform to Departmental policies and procedures. 
    • Maintain ongoing working co-operation with managers and staff within the department and the wider workplace.

    Trade Support Analyst

    Job Summary

    The Support team at KCS assists customers with queries and problems relating to the KCS application software post implementation. The Department also provides customers with a wide variety of other services including the installation of new software and customer training. 

    As a Trade Support Analyst, you will be an integral member of the team and responsible for assisting customers on the K8 application with problems and queries relating to the system software after the customers have gone live; act as a mentor to fellow team members to develop knowledge in the team and work to provide continual service improvement to KCS customers;  

    The Trade Support Analyst will report to a team leader within the Trade Support team.  

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support customers with problems and queries relating to the KCS application software
    • Accurately resolve problems using investigative and analytical skills
    • Identify and replicate problems that require a software change by Development
    • Work as part of the Support team
    • Pro-actively taking ownership of a wide variety of calls and problems 
    • Ensuring all calls are dealt with efficiently and promptly in accordance with the Service Level Agreement
    • Managing, prioritising and progressing their adopted calls, in particular
    • Using the call logging system correctly and ensuring that calls are updated on a regular basis with actions undertaken 
    • Regularly updating customers regarding the status of their calls
    • Effectively handling complaints and call escalation requests form customers 
    • Identifying calls that are not support calls and dealing with these following the correct procedures, for example after sales calls, chargeable support calls, modification and system change requests
    • Continually and pro-actively acquiring and retaining knowledge of KCS products and systems
    • Pro-actively using the appropriate tools to gain and share knowledge
    • Working with members of the Support Team and other departments to ensure that customers receive a prompt and efficient service
    • Alerting Senior Support Analysts, Team Leaders and Managers as necessary regarding any sensitive customer issues
    • Following and applying the standard Commercial Software Support Procedures and Practices
    • Taking the initiative and identifying ways in which the Support Service and/or Support Procedures can be improved and discussing these with the Manager
    • Undertaking any other projects as required by the Manager

    Global Digital Marketing Specialist

    Job Summary

    The appointed Global Digital Marketing Specialist will form part of a Global Brand and Design team, which essentially operates as our own in-house Brand and Design agency. The Global Digital Marketing Specialist will form part of a vibrant, innovative and multi-disciplinary team, and will work alongside the Head of the Global Brand & Design team.  

    The successful candidate must have a passion for all things digital, especially SEO and Google Ads as well as staying on top of the latest technologies that might affect marketing activities. This role will have a digital marketing focus, supporting all business units, across the globe, in all our targeted industries (Distribution, Wholesale, Retail, Automotive, Rental). Close collaboration with the wider creative team will be required, starting from concept right through to production to support digital marketing efforts, whilst working with various stakeholders across the globe for input and alignment.   

    The successful candidate will need to be an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist, with the ability to run independently with all the business’ Google Ads (Display, Search, Remarketing etc) and advise and work towards top of Search Engine Results Page (SERP) for both organic and paid for advertising and provide monthly feedback and recommendations.  

    The Digital Marketing Specialist will continuously need to advise on SEO best practices, provide monthly feedback and recommendations and work alongside all stake holders and Web Designers for all our websites/industry sectors to implement recommendations.  

    They will also be experienced in YouTube and Social Media advertising.  

    The Digital Lead Specialist will need to have an in-depth knowledge of digital platforms and provide insights, advise and provide information and insights on new technologies and how it affects our digital marketing efforts such as AI etc and stay abreast of the latest developments. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Work closely with relevant Stakeholders across the globe to support their digital requirements, obtain input and align with local campaigns with sole purpose to promote the business and support lead gen
    • Implement, run, monitor and advise on Google Ad efforts for all business units across the globe
    • Provide monthly Google Ad reports for each region/business unit - advise on what’s working well, make recommendations as to what can be improved, track implemented changes & provide feedback 
    • Manage SEO for any and all the business’ websites across all industries and regions. Work with local teams to implement recommendations and track results/progress

    Digital Web Designer

    Job Summary

    The appointed Digital Web Designer will form part of a Global Brand and Design team, which essentially operates as our own in-house Brand and Design agency. The Digital Web Designer will form part of a vibrant, innovative and multi-disciplinary team, and will work alongside the Head of the Global Brand & Design team.  

    This role will have a strong focus on Web Design, supporting in migrating all our global websites on to one platform as well as various other design projects. Close collaboration with the wider creative team will be required, starting from concept right through to production.  This role will include the creation of exciting new concepts, across different channels, and across all of Kerridge Commercial Systems product ranges.   

    The successful candidate will need to be an experienced web designer and designer in both digital and print formats but with a strong digital focus. Creativity is essential to this role and modern and innovative work, of the highest quality, will be required.  

    The Digital Web Designer will be responsible for assisting in rebuilding all our global websites, migrating on to one platform, as well as developing and designing aesthetics, execute visual design and/or layout of artwork, component design, marketing materials and any other relevant creative work. This role will work on a ‘project allocation’ basis and could vary from brochure design to website design & build, stand design, logo design, case study creation, branding, image sourcing, banner design, adverts, videos and more. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Work as part of a team to execute on all creative projects from the teams around the globe
    • Assist in the design and delivery of KCS HubSpot websites and various pages, including landing pages for campaigns
    • Work closely with relevant Stakeholders to support their requirements, campaigns and creative needs
    • Once project has been allocated, review briefs or requests and ensure alignment with Stakeholder 
    • Bring brief and concepts to life based on requirements
    • Prepare mock-ups, get approval from Brand and Design Manager and then present to relevant Stakeholder for approval/sign off prior to finalising 
    • Adapt and roll out approved concepts
    • Keep open line of communication on progress of project
    • Adhere to brand identity and guidelines
    • Ensure artwork is correct and supplied in required formats 

    Key Requirements: 

    • Graphic Design/Web Design/Visual communications qualification
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a web & digital designer, preferably within HubSpot
    • Strong understanding, knowledge and experience with CSS and HTML
    • Understanding, knowledge and experience in SEO
    • Ability to interpret briefs, create ideas and run with a project from start to finish
    • Bring new exciting ideas and implement new design concepts across different digital platforms to push the brand further; co-creating new promotional campaigns on a global scale, both digitally and in print.
    • Good understanding of UX, UI and front-end development would be beneficial
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Organised and able to plan and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
    • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to communicate or present your ideas
    • Requires knowledge of industry relevant multimedia software
    • Can thrive under pressure
    • Can work independently and as part of a team
    • Experience in producing compelling graphics using Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. 

    Would be beneficial:

    • Familiarity designing websites using a code tool such as Adobe XD
    • Ability to hand code HTML and CSS
    • Knowledge of responsive frameworks
    • Experience in developing responsive websites a bonus
    • Understanding of CSS modular architecture
    • Experience with Premiere and After Effect would be a bonus
    • Knowledge of KCS Web Builder, Drupal, WordPress and Jekyll would be advantageous
