    HOD: Heritage and Knowledge

    JOB SUMMARY
    Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for the strategic management of the Heritage and Knowledge department and the provision of advice to the CEO and Council of Freedom Park. The HOD shall perform the following functions, but not limited to:

    •  Providing strategic management for the Heritage and Knowledge department
    • which include Heritage Management, Heritage Research, and Heritage Education
    •  Provide strategic advice and support to the CEO and Council of Freedom Park
    •  Being an active member of the Executive Management of Freedom Park and contribute to the organisation achieving its overall strategic objectives.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    •  Identify, develop, and direct the effective implementation of the department’s business strategy to promote reconciliation and nation building. These include Heritage Education, Research and Innovation (Knowledge Centre), and Curatorship and Archiving.
    •  Ensure collated operational plans are in line with the organisation’s medium-term strategies.
    •  Establish and maintain constructive relations with various organisations and institutions in the heritage and related sectors to ensure delivery of effective programs.
    •  Set up strategies aimed at enhancing the quality of programs.
    •  Take accountability for the effective implementation of all projects within the department in line with budgetary requirements and stipulated timeframes and
    • quality standards.
    •  Harness the value of teamwork within the department to ensure the achievement of the organisation objectives.
    •  Provide supervisory support to personnel for effective performance and delivery.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    Minimum Requirements:

    •  Master’s degree in museum and heritage studies or equivalent
    •  At least 12 to15 years’ experience in the heritage sector.
    •  10 years of management experience.

    Manager: Human Resources

    JOB SUMMARY
    Reporting to the Head of Department: Corporate Services, the incumbent will be responsible for providing strategic Human Resources direction and managing HR functions, including but not limited to:

    •  Development of HR strategies and implementation plans
    •  Managing the employee relations functions for the organisation

    • management systems to ensure that employees are appropriately rewarded.
    •  Manage the employee relations function within the organisation to ensure sound relations with stakeholders.
    •  Manage the recruitment and selection function to ensure attraction, placement, and retention of suitably qualified candidates for the organisation's performance.
    •  Provide leadership and advisory support to the organisation on various HR related matters for effective performance, informed decision making and legislative compliance.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    Minimum Requirements:

    •  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field. A postgraduate qualification (NQF Level 8) will be an added advantage.
    •  10 years of experience in Human Resources Management.
    •  5 years of managerial experience.

    Manager: Supply Chain

    JOB SUMMARY
    Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for providing strategic Supply Chain Management direction and managing SCM functions, including but not limited to:

    •  Actively coordinate all SCM activities of the organisation in order to ensure compliant SCM practices in the institution.
    •  Identify and develop appropriate risk management proposals aligned to PFMA and National Treasury Regulations.
    •  Manage and oversee the SCM Unit and Risk Management Unit.
    •  Review and submit all required statutory reports, such as performance reports, risk reports,
    • procurement plans, and report on progress against procurement plans.
    •  Review and develop SCM policies and practices to ensure compliance with PFMA and regulations and be responsible for all SCM processes, including tenders.
    •  Be responsible for addressing all queries and findings from the entity’s Internal Auditors General related to SCM and submit monthly SCM and procurement reports to the CFO for submission to the Management Committee.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    •  Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field. A post-graduate qualification (NQF Level 8) will be an added advantage.
    •  10 years of experience in supply chain management.

    Manager: ICT

    JOB SUMMARY
    Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for providing ICT Strategic direction and managing ICT support functions, including but not limited to:
     Management of ICT Projects, Resources, Networks, Systems, and Server

    • Infrastructure,
    •  Management of Cloud Computing, and Cybersecurity for Freedom Park and its
    • Subsidiaries.
    • The incumbent will be responsible for managing the Information and Communication Technology Unit within the Finance Department of Freedom Park.

    •  Planning and Management of ICT Operations.
    •  Management of ICT Infrastructure and Assets.
    •  Planning and coordinating ICT Network and Server Management.
    •  Management of Cybersecurity.
    •  Management of ICT Service Support to all users daily.

    •  Management of ICT Governance across Freedom Park functions.

    •  Ensuring compliance with the regulatory ICT Policy and Legislative Framework.
    •  Development and implementing of ICT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Policies and Plans.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    Minimum Requirements:

    •  10 years of experience in the ICT industry.
    •  5 years of managerial experience.
