• Financial Reporting
• Review of monthly accounts (Funds, CIS’s, structured products, product accounts & reporting companies)
• Preparation of Invest monthly management accounts
• Assisting with compilation of Exco and Board reports
• Involvement in preparation and review of various financial statements & disclosures
• Consolidation of various funds and Collective Investment Schemes
• Budgeting & cost management
• Budgeting for income, manex, flows & assets under administration
• Variance analysis on expenses and products
• Cost driver analysis and impact assessments
• Asset Reporting
• Asset allocation & SAM reporting
• Bi-annual IFRS 7 disclosures
• Process improvement
• Direct support to Finance Manager
• Enhancing existing procedures & processes
• Liaising with internal & external audit
• Competencies & personal pre-requisites
• Strong accounting background
• Critical thinking & analysis skills

• Ability to manage deadlines and plan, organise and control work-flow

Qualifications & Experience

• CA(SA) – Bcom Hons accounting + completed articles + board exams
• Experience in Investment Management/Pension Funds/Life insurance will be advantageous
• Advanced Computer Literacy & MS Excel
