BI Business Analyst at Gijima

Job description

Gijima are currently in the market for 2 BI Business Analysts to be appointed on a 1-3 year contract. A minimum of 4 years' BA experience and at least 2 years' experience using UML

• Elicit requirements from stakeholders, produce functional specifications and related documentation
• Work closely with technical team and participate in System Development Life Cycle
• Produce test plans and test cases
• Perform testing and facilitate user acceptance testing
• Perform and provide analysis of business opportunities (including drafting business cases where necessary)
• Understand the environment and conduct research/analysis
• Maintain a strong and collaborative relationship with the team and liaise with users to ensure that user requirements are met
• Understand the principals and business function of BI systems (would be beneficial)
• At least 2 years’ experience using Unified Modelling Language (UML) modelling
• Business and management principles involved in strategic planning
• Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including needs assessment, meeting quality standards for ser vices, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
• Monitoring and evaluation methods, tools and techniques
• Previous involvement in developing a BI system (would be beneficial)
