Academic Au Pair | Bellville | R17 000 - R18 000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Bellville
• Children’s Ages: 8 years old in June – Girl
• Child’s Neurodivergence Snapshot: Autistic (Social, Emotional and self care needs – she needs assistance in this aspects) ADHD – messy, very busy & Pathological Demand Avoidance. Struggles with disappointment and to regulate emotions.
• Support Style: She is on medication. Distraction with a fun activity and playfulness works – let her work through her emotions.
• Working hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:00
• School holiday hours: Same as above
• Duties: Educational play in the mornings with regular breaks, incorporating engaging, stimulating activities tailored to her preferred pace and learning style. Afternoon au pairing duties including supervised play, fun and age-appropriate activities, snack and meal preparation, ad hoc household errands, transportation to extra mural activities or lessons, as well as occasional babysitting with prior notice and additional remuneration.
• Special Requirements: Afrikaans, someone young and energetic. Neurodiverse experience is required. There are cats in the household, someone who is comfortable with household pets 
• Curriculum: CAPS
• Start Date and contract term: July – permanent
• Salary: R17 000 - R18 000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
