Academic Au Pair | Eikenhof, JHB South | R10 500 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their 2 children
• Area: Eikenhof
• Children’s Ages: 7 year old (Grade 2) and 9 year old (Grade 4) – Girls
• Working hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 15:00 – 17:00 and Thursday 14:00 – 18:00
• School holiday hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible
• Duties: We need the Au Pair to pick up the children from school and assist them with homework, projects, and any areas where they may need extra support, particularly in Zulu and Maths. On Thursdays, the children attend Abacus Math in Alberton, so the Au Pair will need to take them to their lesson. The role also includes engaging the children in intellectually stimulating activities, occasional babysitting, and weekend work by prior arrangement.
• Special Requirements: A young female candidate is preferred. She should be able to assist with Zulu homework and must be strong in Math. Ages 21 to 30.
• Start Date and contract term: 9 March – permanent
• Salary: R10 500pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
