    Account Management Specialist

    Description

    We are looking for a talented ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST to join our team specializing in SALES for our COMPONENTS BUSINESS SEGMENT in JOHANNESBURG, GAUTENG, SOUTH AFRICA.

    In this role, the candidate will make an impact in the following ways:

    • Develops/Executes account plans with support and coaching from manager and achieves sales goals within the assigned channel partner.
    • Develops, manages, and maintains business relationships with assigned accounts and branches supporting the organization's sales strategy.
    • Accompanies customer’s sales force to end user customers to solve issues and help sell the benefits of technical products and Uses comprehension of customer needs and priorities to identify and offer Fleetguard solutions
    • Conducts prearranged face to face sales calls, and agreed upon number of on-line meetings dependant on safety to travel and maintains and strengthens customer relationships to generate future sales and repeat business
    • Responds to customer concerns in a timely fashion and reports activity via the Customer Relationship Management tool per management direction. (Salesforce)
    • Extends and expands sale of products and services to existing clients.

    To be successful in this role the candidate will need the following:

    • College, university, or equivalent degree in marketing, sales, technical or a related subject or equivalent industry experience required.
    • Account Planning - Identifies objectives to drive execution of business and/or account strategy by reviewing the status relative to where it needs to be and enabling tracking of progress against targets
    • Developing Account Strategy - Determines current status of account in terms of relationship, financial, product competitiveness, barriers, quality, and service and defining desired future state by balancing customer requirements and business capabilities in order to define achievable targets aligned with the business strategy.
    • Sales Forecasting - Collects and assesses customer data from internal and external sources; compares against historical data to determine useful inputs and create a forecast of future consumption patterns.
