In this role, you’ll be the trusted accounting partner supporting a portfolio of re/insurance structures, working closely with the Principal to deliver precise, well‑presented financial work that meets the highest quality standards. You’ll collaborate daily with senior team members, help drive smooth operational delivery, and contribute to a positive, growth‑focused environment—all while gaining hands‑on experience across a diverse range of clients and processes.
What you'll do
You’ll maintain accurate accounting records and prepare unaudited financial statements for a portfolio of re/insurance clients.
You’ll assist with payment processes, regulatory filings, and the preparation of materials for board, shareholder, and committee meetings.
You’ll support client onboarding through CDD/KYC reviews, ongoing assessments, and workflow management across multiple re/insurance structures.
You’ll coordinate day‑to‑day operations with the Principal, including communication with external consultants and service providers.
You’ll ensure all work meets quality, compliance, and risk standards while knowing when to escalate issues and using feedback to continuously grow.

Qualifications
About You
You have completed your 3-year SAICA article as an Accountant Trainee.
You have accounting experience, ideally with exposure to re/insurance or a similar environment.
You understand basic accounting principles and are comfortable working with IFRS and relevant GAAPs.
You are confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to work efficiently and accurately.
You communicate clearly, collaborate well, and are fluent in English—both written and verbal.
