Accountant at JD Group

Job Purpose:

• To ensure suppliers accounts are paid on time by managing the timeous submission of documents to the sundry creditors department

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field with 3/4 years experience.
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

 
Responsibilities

• supply required information (including contracts) to open new sundry creditors account
• Prepare vendor reconciliations and do a detailed checking of invoices
• Manage query resolutions
• Meeting monthly deadlines for the submission of documents to the creditors department
• GL Account Management
• Team Human Resources Management
• Effective self management and teamwork
• Compile and analyze financial statements
• Manage budgeting and forecasting
