Accountant PA(SA) at IGrow Wealth Investments

• While you will own thencore financial functions, from Xero processing to AFS compilation, you will also act as a Strategic Finance Partner. You will work directly with the Head of Finance to perform system gap analyses, update our tech stack, and implement the processes that will drive our operational success. To qualify for this position, you need:

• Recently qualified Professional Accountant (SA) (registered with (SAIPA) or AGA(SA) (registered with SAICA).
• Ability to perform without constant supervision.
• Self-motivated.
• Ability to perform under pressure.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Planning, coordinating and prioritizing.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
• Proficiency in Xero and Excel is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to spot "gaps" in data and processes.
• High attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
• A proactive interest in FinTech and automation.
• The ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business advice.
• The desire to build and improve systems rather than just following existing ones.

Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Financial Accounting & Compliance:

• Manage the full accounting function on Xero.
• Perform high-volume transactional processing with a focus on accuracy.
• Prepare and compile Annual Financial Statements (AFS).
• Statutory submissions, including Income Tax and VAT.
• Complex commission reconciliations (including incentive payouts, reversals, and cancellations).

Systems, Tech & Strategy:

• Assist the Head of Finance with System & Financial Gap
• Analysis to identify operational inefficiencies.
• Evaluate and update the finance tech stack to ensure seamless integration with sales data.
• Design and implement new automated workflows to
• improve reporting speed and accuracy.
• Provide data-driven insights to support a high-performance sales environment.

Operational Excellence:

• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and financial controls.
• Collaborate with the sales division to ensure accurate financial tracking of deals.
• Ensure the business remains audit-ready and compliant with all South African regulatory frameworks.
