Key Output

Month end responsibilities

•  Income statement review
•  Review and verify financial transactions to ensure accuracy
•  Month end journals
•  Prepare month end recons and reports
•  Goods in transit review
•  Responsible for the Management of parts depreciation accounting

Audit responsibilities

•  Liaison between auditors and regions for all parts queries
•  Assist the regions with any submissions to auditors when required
•  Prepare and submission of parts depreciation reports/analysis/recons to auditors

Parts accounting

•  Cost and variance analysis (incl Parts depreciation analysis)
•  Effective cost and financial reporting
•  Inventory/cost accounting
•  Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and recons
•  Understanding standard costing (and impact thereof)

Other

•  Parts projects to improve efficiency, completeness and accuracy
•  Parts internal audit assistance (Support to line of business and regions)
•  Ad hoc requests (From LOB and regions)
•  Budgeting and forecasting
•  Audit committee paper
•  CAT KPI quarterly reporting

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

•  3 - 5 years’ experience
•  SAIPA/CIMA
