A leading accounting and advisory company is looking for an experienced Accountant with a professional and motivated approach to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own client portfolio and handling a wide range of financial and taxation matters within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Managing a portfolio of clients independently
Preparation and review of annual financial statements
Handling of tax returns (ITR12, ITR14, VAT) and SARS-related matters
Monthly and annual accounting processing
Preparing reconciliations and management accounts
Professional liaison with clients and team members
Requirements:
Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles in an accounting practice
Relevant degree or diploma in Accounting
Sound knowledge of IFRS for SMEs and South African tax legislation
Experience with CaseWare, Xero, or Sage will be advantageous
Professional communication skills in Afrikaans and English
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
