    Accountant - Sandton

    Description

    Financial Accountant

    • Support the Financial Manager in maintaining the trial balance with standard journals and general oversight
    • Support the Financial Manager in submitting budgets in Worldwide reporting
    • Review and release payment batches to ensure they are accurately compiled
    • Creditor function: Oversee and review reconciliations and resolving queries timeously in balance with business needs.
    • Debtor function: Oversee and issue cost estimates if approved with a client PO, as well as drive cash collections or resolve.
    • Review bank reconciliations and cash health
    • Client service function: support the team in understanding how to drive revenue, status of projects and some context on profitability.
    • Additional ad hoc finance queries and analyses as required
