ZaPOP is seeking an exceptional, energetic, dynamic and talented Accountant, to join our finance team at our offices in Oude Westhof, Cape Town, to provide and keep accurate and complete financial records for our group of companies.

Responsibilities include:

• Complete monthly management accounts, including tax provisions, balance sheet recons & intercompany invoicing.
• Review profit & loss, and prepare monthly financial packs for final review.
• Ensure compliance with the company and tax laws for the group.
• Calculate and communicate commissions payable to relevant stakeholders.
• Manage and ensure timeous recharges between departments within the group.
• Communicate business unit recharges, income and expenses with relevant business units.
• Conduct monthly payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate payment to employees. Ensure all payroll taxes are paid and that all EMPs are submitted on time.
• Assisting the finance team and other departments with accounting queries

What we require from you:.

• Matric/Grade 12 with Maths and Accounting
• BCom Degree
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Senior Accountant role
• Payroll Processing experience would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills
