Reporting to the Senior Accounts Manager, the Accounts Manager will proactively market and source new business, negotiate and conclude business loan, manage client relationships and actively manage investments.

The Accounts Manager will:

• Drive market share growth.
• Identify areas of opportunity within each sector.
• Proactively market and pursue new investment opportunities.
• Establish a network of key role players in each sector.
• Effectively acquire and maintain client relationships.
• Manage investment application processes actively and effectively.
• Ensure disbursement processes are managed and adhered to.
• Manage customer services from application to loan disbursements.
• Resolve conflict issues timeously.
• Ensure compliance to corporate and legislative requirements.

The following minimum requirements should be met to be considered:

Qualifications:

• National Diploma in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent qualification will be advantageous.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in SMME Sales funding environment and proven deal making experience.
• Valid code B Driver’s licence with own reliable and roadworthy vehicle.

Requisite Functional Competencies:

• Advanced knowledge of SMME financing products and application of financing instruments.
• Detailed understanding of SMME market environment.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation e.g. Banks Act FAIS, FICA, NCA, PFMA, Companies Act.
• Knowledge and experience in Ms Offices packages.
• Must demonstrate integrity, confidentiality and honestly.
• Knowledge of entrepreneurial challenges.
• Entrepreneurial with strong sales/marketing acumen.
• Strong customer acquisition, retention and relationship management skills.
• Presentation skills.
• Should possess good accounting and financial analysis skills.
• Ability to research and gather necessary data from relevant sources, including industry experts in compiling
• investment report.
• Possess good oral communication and writing skills.
• Ability to identify risks and recommend relevant risk mitigants.
• Possess an understanding of various investment instruments and be able to structure deals
