Grade 12 or equivalent. At least 2-3 years’ experience in Asset management/FMU.
Knowledge of Supply Chain management will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of PFMA, treasury regulation SCM policies, procurement delegation and Asset Management policy.
Must have good leave/absence record.
Relevant Tertiary qualification will be added an advantage.
Willing to work extra hours, standby, overtime etc.
Driver’s license and computer literacy will be an added advantage.
Duties :
Administration work for Facility management unit. Coordinate FMU related projects, Receive works order, log call for maintenance, record all works orders in the recording system, accordingly, liaise with workshop on works order not attended to, handle routine inquiries, keep and maintain the filling system for FMU, record movement of documents (incoming and outgoing), compile weekly and monthly report of all call logged maintenance, Handle all the requisition for FMU.Coordinate institutional keys.
Render asset management clerical support. Compile and maintain records (e.g. Asset records/ databases). Conduct physical assets and update asset register. Attend to all assets internal and external audit verification process.
Check and issue furniture, equipment and accessories to components and individuals. Identify redundant, non-serviceable and obsolete equipment for disposal.
