Grade 12 with no experience, Grade10 with 2 years’ experience in patient administration, Computer literate. Ability to work under pressure.
Prepared to work shifts and night duty, public holidays also rotate within the department. Knowledge of Record Management Policy, Patient Administration Guideline, PFMA and UPFS.
Duties :
Carry out administrative duties in accordance with guidelines and prescripts for record management and patient administration. Perform a variety of duties that are related to patient registration, admission and filling. Accurate capturing of patient’s data both electronically and manually (personal details, supporting documents and correct classification).
Capturing downtime, PAIA statistics and Section 32 Management. Compile all private files on a spreadsheet and submit them to supervisor and the finance for billing purpose monthly. Perform sub-cashier duties (patient fees cash collection). Comply with telephone enquiries for patient administration and record management.
Adherence to all the requirements and changes from internal and external stakeholders, and disposal procedures. Accept responsibilities given by the supervisor from time to time and report to the supervisor.
