Grade 12 Certificate with Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Asset Management or Grade 12 with Five (5) years appropriate experience in Asset Management in public sector.
Knowledge of the PFMA & Treasury Regulations and Asset Management policies and procedures. Good Communication (verbal and writing skills), Report Writing, Presentation, Financial Management Analysis, Planning, Organizing and Interpersonal Skills. Ability to work independently. driver’s license and computer literacy is essential.
Duties :
Ensure that new Asset Acquisitions are Barcoded and uploaded on Asset register. Ensure the reconciliation of the Assets against Bas system is up to date. Ensure that
Asset verification is performed, and all relevant discrepancies are resolved Assist in all Asset related Audit queries. Assist in the development and implementation of the
Asset Management strategy and policy in line with e-Government operational plan. Execute the disposal of all redundant Assets in line with the departmental policies and procedures.
Monitor the operational performance and maintenance of the Medical Equipment on daily Basis. Perform all other duties as delegated by the Supervisor/Manager.
