Adventure Guide at African Echoes Recruitment

• An established safari operation in the Greater Addo, Eastern Cape is seeking an experienced and qualified Adventure / Field Guide to join their team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding guests on safari and adventure activities, including canoe experiences, while ensuring professional service and guest safety.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Adventure Guide certification beneficial
• FGASA Level 2 Field Guide qualification essential
• PDP essential
• Valid First Aid qualification essential
• Experience conducting canoe activities
• Skipper's Licence advantageous
• Strong knowledge of wildlife, conservation, and the natural environment
• Excellent communication and guest relations skills
• Professional, responsible, and safety conscious
• Passion for guiding and outdoor adventure
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Conduct guided safari and adventure activities
• Lead canoe activities and ensure guest safety
• Provide engaging interpretation of wildlife and the environment
• Deliver professional and memorable guest experiences
• Ensure all activities are conducted safely and according to required procedures
• Maintain guiding and activity equipment
• Assist with general operational duties when required
• Build positive relationships with guests and colleagues
• Maintain professional guiding standards at all times 

PACKAGE: 

• Salary Negotiable (DOE)
